ITS5 - ASP.NET Developer
The Services and Enterprise Support Administration, Technology Services Division is seeking a senior **ASP.NET Developer**to join our team. This 18 month project assignment will give you the opportunity to function as a developer resource for the enterprise wide Agency Records Request Tracking System (ARRTS). In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance ARRTS to comply with new legislative mandates. Additionally, you will help determine business needs, write code, test system functionality, provide system analysis and design, resolve and mitigate security vulnerabilities, and migrate code releases through Dev, QA, and Production environments.

**Some of what you'll do**
* Work with a team of technical experts to build new functionality, metrics, and reporting in the ARRTS system
* Identify potential solutions and assess them for technical and business suitability
* Evaluate product backlog and estimate hours for assigned tasks during sprint planning sessions
* Provide complex technical support, beyond the basic level of customer support, to meet evolving customer needs
* Analyze, diagnose, and resolve errors related to ARRTS
* Investigate operational or systematic problems
* Ensure that Category IV data is protected from security breaches
* Initialize and participate in security design reviews
* Review results of security scans in the QA environment and resolve identified vulnerabilities
**What we're looking for**
* At least 5 years of experience with hands-on design, coding, integration, and deployment with mid to large scale development efforts.
* At least 2 years of SQL Server experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Proficiency in Microsoft development tools
* Mastery of software development life cycle best practices
* Fluency in ASP.Net Webforms, C#, AJAX, and JavaScript
* Expertise in cross-browser compatibility/optimization
* Proficiency in HTML 5, CSS, XML/XSL
* Good understanding of web services protocols such as REST, SOAP, and API design
* Working knowledge of IIS
* Strong background in object-oriented programming
* Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, especially in representing technical expertise to a diverse audience
* Proficiency in integrating system and data interfaces
* Strong debugging and problems solving skills
Experience in these areas can be obtained concurrently.
