**Providence is calling a CDC Professional Trainee (1.0 FTE, Variable) to Providence St. Peter Chemical Dependency Center.**

_This position maintains and coordinates the case management of assigned patients while under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor. The Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee delivers treatment services including individual and family sessions, lectures and group therapy._

**In this position you will:**

o Work directly with patients diagnosed with substance use and co-occurring disorders

o Complete comprehensive assessments

o Develop individualized treatment plans

o Provide therapeutic individual and family sessions

o Work with a collaborative team of professionals

o Gain the necessary supervision for Chemical Dependency Professional credentialing


**Required qualifications for this position include** :

o Associates Degree in Human Services or related field

o Current WA State Department of Health certification as a Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CDPT)

o Driver License; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

**Preferred qualifications for this position include:**

o Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English. Effective communication skills

o Moderate proficiency with computers, Outlook email, Microsoft Office

Providence St. Peter Chemical Dependency Center (PSPCDC) is part of Providence Behavioral Health Services, coordinating care with Providence St. Peter Hospital Psychiatry Services and Providence Sexual Assault Clinic. We offer programs for adults and adolescents, for Substance Use Disorder, Problem Gambling and Tobacco Cessation. Our treatment model incorporates the

nationally recognized American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) patient placement criteria, family involvement and community-based recovery support groups.
